Thanks for this post.  I always enjoy your perspective and appreciate your openness.  

Our team only occasionally works from the same location and so we rely on trust.  Even though I get weekly 5-15 reports from my staff on their activities and morale, along with the hrs they have worked, I have to trust that they are being open and honest with me.  In the same way, my board has the same level of trust with me, setting goals and guidelines and believing I will do what it takes to get there.</description>
